Default FS: 1992 Honda Civic Si

LOCATION: Frederick County, MD
PRICE: $5200 obo CASH ONLY
**This car is 100% stock minus a Sony headunit**

INFO: The car is a '92 Civic Si hatchback. Title in hand. The current mileage is 142xxx, and will continue to increase as this is my daily driver. My commute is only 15-20 miles round trip so not a lot of driving. I am the second owner of the vehicle, the first owners being an older couple who bought it directly from Criswell Honda.

INTERIOR:

The interior is in IMMACULATE condition. The couple that owned it before kept it perfect inside. No tears, no burns, no pieces missing. The only thing not 100% stock interior is the Sony head unit that they had Criswell install. The shift **** seen in the pictures will not be included with the sale, I'll be putting the stock one back on.

EXTERIOR:

The exterior condition is good. The car is factory Milano Red in color, and the vinyl along the bottom of the car was layed on by Criswell before the car was put on the showroom floor. Extremely rare to find still in one piece.

MISC.: The car has been dealership kept its entire life, and all service records can be aquired through Criswell Honda. Since I've owned the vehicle, I personally have installed the following parts to pass state inspection or just as regular maintenance: OEM proportioning valve, OEM fuel filter, passenger rear caliper, Hawk HPS rear pads, Brembo OE replacement rear rotors, steering rack, inner/outer tie rods, and an alignment that was done at a shop. The brakes were also manually bled multiple times; the fluid in the reservoir looks as clear as water.

Work that was done before I bought the vehicle: OEM ecu, Honda battery, OEM master cylinder/ brake booster, spark plugs, OEM cap, OEM rotor button, OEM coil, catalytic converter, intermediate pipe, muffler, OEM rear trailing arm bushings, OEM front calipers, OEM driver rear caliper, front pads and rotors done 5-7k before I bought it.

The only thing that I would consider bad on the car would be the paint. The car DOES NOT HAVE your typical honda cancer. No quarter panel rust, no fuel door rust, just some sun damage to the hood and roof.

The car is a great commuter car, or perfect for that person trying to restore a rare honda. The car is awesome condition for being 21 years old, and has been extremely well taken care of mechanically. Nadaguides.com listed this car for 5925 high retail, and 4200 average retail. It is rare to find this car untouched, unmolested, and kept original. The car is well ABOVE average, but the sun damage hurts it from being considered mint.

Please contact Sean with any questions, thanks.

Untouched EH3's aren't exactly like telephone poles now-a-days. I would say you're asking price isn't TERRIBLY off, but the mileage is...if the buyer has a "put it in a glass case" mentality. Having said that, I hope you put alot of emphasis on the obo for the lowballers.

Im trying to just push away all of the tire kickers and people trying to say that 2500 is a better price. I've only owned the car for 5 months, and was thinking about throwing some coils and wheels on it, but didn't wanna spend money on something that'd be better kept stock.

I'm intrested in the hatch but not for that price. We're you planning on fixing the paint and hand delivering it to purchaser with big bow ?
