stock gsr with bc3+ cam injector size question
so i plan on doing a bolt on jdm gsr with bc spec 3+ cams now my question is would stock injectors with a 190 or 255 walbro be enough or should i run my rc 440cc injectors typical bolt ons will be skunk2 mani, toda rep header, 68mm throttle body and 3 inch exhaust. from my understanding stock 240cc injectors max out about 190 whp which this setup shouldnt realy exceed unless i happen to get a freak of a motor, but id like to get info from others who may have done this setup
My guess is you'd be OK. If you can monitor duty cycle you could check it and get injectors if they are getting saturated. Otherwise I guess you'll have to err on the side of caution. Anything over 240cc will be fine. Stock fuel pump is fine.
you would be very close to 190 i would say.
check my sig. the only difference in mine is pr3 pistons.
but i would suggest geting at least RDX injectors.
i donno if its correct or not
but my injector duty cycle at redline is 92%
fuel multiplier is set to following
new injector size 370cc
adjusted multiplier .782

The OP will be lucky to break 180WHP with what is listed. He also does not have a milled head and there is no mention of what he intends to use to tune with. Pretty sure the stock injectors would suffice with what is listed w/o issue.

If you've got Neptune and you're planning on street tuning, my advice would be to do your street tune and then check injector duty cycle at redline WOT. If you're above 90% maybe change them. At least give yourself the chance to save some $$.
im def street tuning first but my thing is i have a set of rc 440 cc injectors but if i dont need them i will sell them but yea i will check the duty cycle when we street tune it and see from there
missed that ...
if you gonna do 2 layer headgasket maybe take .02 off that will bump the compression to 11 or so.
do you have adjustable cam gears and planning to tune on a dyno later??
portmatch the throttle body and intake manifold/ head?
remember that mine also had a restrictive exhaust and shitty remanned distributor. and ebay intake.
bump the fuel pressure to 50 maybe? i dont know how much can stock injectors handle.
wasnt fully tuned.

it'll be close to 180-190 imo... I just got my LSV dynoed today.. I had a 81.5mm 11.7:1 CR streetuned by Vega w/ Phearable.net on a chipped p72 on ECtune on 93 octane.. it has gsr head, bc3+ cams, b18A block, pr3 pistons, and I made 182 HP and 131 TQ... I did have a stock gsr TB, so def a bigger TB portmatched to the IM would probably add a few hp..
