Icon2 Honda Crx 91, white smoke and idle problem

I have a Honda 1991 CRX, D15B2 Engine, Dualpoint injection, Manual transmission, and I swapped out the old head gasket and put in a new one because of the excessive amounts of sweet smelling white smoke it was pumping out of the exhaust. I also decided to seafoam it too, just to make sure I polished my terd completely. Its been a couple days after and I've taken it for a spin a few times, still white smoke. DEFINATELY not as bad as it used to be, but still an annoying amount.

Next issue that's been busting my nuts. My idle when the car is warmed up drops up and down rough between 1500 rpms and 800 rpms irregularly. I took off the Idle air control valve and cleaned it out with carb cleaner (impatiently) and slapped it back on it. Still did not fix the issue.

PLEASE HELP, any advice would be much appreciated.

How long have you driven the car since the gasket change?
Looking for approximate time.

16 hours is plenty of time to have cleared out all the residual water and such that may have fallen in during the head gasket change.

My guess is that the mating surfaces of the head and block were not checked for flatness after the head gasket was removed.
Probably one, or both, of the surfaces are warped beyond specification and needs to be machined flat before a new gasket can seal properly.

Also it could be a vacuum leak.
