Well today i purchased an engine harness from a dude i met on craiglist, is there anyway to tell if it really is a 99 si harness,i went to his house to get it and saw the si being parted out but it was already pulled when i got there so i just wonna make sure he did not switch on me lol. Second putting together my parts for my lsvtec swap,will i need an si ecu or can my 99 ek ecu work with this harness.

how many plugs and color are there where it goes to the ECU? and how many pins are the Dizzy plug?

 

Neither...you'll want a jumper harness, obd1 vtec socketed ecu, and basemap/tune.

Need to be able to switch ecu's so when time for emmisions i can switch back to obd2 just to get tested

 

That's a '99 - '00 Si harness alright. 2 plugs at the ECU (3rd plug is part of the cabin harness on '99 - '00 Civics except HX) and it's got the big distributor plug.
