What is the grey(white?) silicone-like seal that goes between the tranny case and the bell housing?

 

its called honda-bond. you can get it from a dealer$hip.

people use other products that are equivalent. i know permatex makes an equivalent, but i forget the exact name.

try a search on this...i know it has been discussed somewhat in the past.
