Default damaged ignition lock cylinder

So my 93' civic hatch was the victim of some lame asses trying to steal it. Luckily they weren't able to remove my tire boot lock or find my kill switches. But they did do some damage that requires some work and money to be spent. As the title says my ignition cylinder was damaged. As of now i can still start my car with pretty much anything. still use my key of course but i have to be careful of not turning key too much or it gets stuck on the farthest part and can hear my starter continuing to crank, this i can only assume is no bueno. so i'm on the look out for new key cylinder. So here's my question for any of you that might of been through the same.
do i just need the key cylinder or the whole tumbler? are any of the 3rd party cylinders any good? ex: standard motor, beck arnley, oes. I'm purchasing an oem(hopefully) cylinder from ebay but will take about a week to deliver. the 3rd party ones are on amazon and have next day delivery. does anyone have experience with any of these, they don't cost much so that's why i'm skeptical.
this is the damage that they did

probably will down the line if I find a whole set in a salvage yard. For now I don't mind having a different key for ignition & doors.

Ok another question if anyone can help. would any other model/year ignition cylinder work for my 93 civic hatch. Passed by a junk yard & they have a few newer model Honda accord that they will sell me the key sets. So does anyone know if these locks would work for a civic. If anything at least the ignition cylinder. Or does anyone know which other model/year car I can use to replace it with. Thanks
