my civic is a 94 lx I believe, 6th digit in vin is 8 so I was told it was a 1.5 lx.
I dont know much about cars so im wondering if there is someone who knows what year(s) alternators would fit my 94 lx, like 92-95 IDK just a example. Please get back to me asap the junkyard is closing soon and I would love to pick it up if the one they have will fit. thank you

Any d series alt. Just make sure amperage ratings are correct.

 

'92 - '95 Civic/Del Sol are all the same (except '94 - '95 Del Sol VTEC, the one with the B16A3) '88 - '91 Civic also have the same plug, I seem to recall needing to swap the pulley though. '96 - '00 will work, but you need to swap the plug on the engine harness.

 

/\ correct. for ease of install, any 92-95 1.5/1.6 sohc alternator will work without any modification.
