So here is the situation, a friend of the family is selling a 2004 Acura rsx for 4500 with 30k milles. The situation however is that it was rolled over however when he rolled it over he had a friend of his with a tow truck roll it back. So he never reported it to the insurence or DMV. I dont kno it he drove it back or had his friend take him. So technically the title Is clean and the car has been restored. The deal sounds good BUT the rolled over thing has me really thinking twice. Any opinions on if i should take it? And what I should do to see what kinda damage it really has? And is taking it To and Acura dealer, and telling the guy it was rolled over so he knows what to look for a good idea? Idk if he will be forced to report the roll over thing.

If its a Type S, thats a decent deal for someone looking to K swap an EG or EK. If youre looking for a daily driver then nahhhh.

I would take it to a reputable frame/body shop, they more than likely would be able to tell you if its good to go or not.

 

..as far as the acura dealership, Im not sure if they are required to report it or not, however I wouldnt risk it. Just find a good body shop

 

I wouldn't want all the work involved and hassles... I'd buy it as CHEAP as possible and part it out
