I have a 2002 Honda Accord EX V6 and I had installed an aftermarket radio about 5 years ago with a standard wiring harness. Originally this had six-disc CD changer and OEM wiring harness handles all steering wheel controls including the cruise controls.

At the time I had the radio installed the person told me I would loose all my steering wheel controls and I was ok with that at the time. But now I would to at least get back the use of my Cruise Control functions on my steering wheel if that is possible. Any ideas of how I can do this?

 

What does the cruise control have to do with an aftermarket stereo?

 

The OEM Harness contains all the radio controls and the steering wheel controls.
The aftermarket stereo does NOT directly plug into the OEM Harness, so, you need a 3rd party harness to connect the stereo and OEM harness. In the end, you loose all the steering wheel controls (volume: up and down; channel: up and down; cruise controls: set, resume, accel and decel, cancel).

I looked into 3rd party ASWC controls (example: http://www.axxessinterface.com/steer...ntrol_new.aspx), but these only will fix the channel, volume, and OEM Bluetooth features.
