Default Going up in Tire Size

Have Honda Accord LX.
OE Tire size is P195/65-R15
Can I go to P205/75-R15??

Have a junk Lumina and want to exchange tires.

you can yes. You might have rubbing issues when turning and compressing the suspension.

Thanks....I suppose that the wheels from the lumina will not fit the hub on the Honda?

that depends. If the Lumina is 4 1/2" lug pattern then yes. if its 4" or five lug then no. It never hurts to try. worst to happen is it wont fit.

Just an FYI. Next time you post something, espectially if it's more technical, please include the year of the car as well. Some people around here will chew you out for not posting it. The year makes a difference.

I don't know much past the fourth and fifth gen accords. Never worked on anything older than a 90 or newer than a 97. So im not sure what the lug pattern is on that year/model.

Well unfortunately I wont be able to actually check it all out until this weekend to see if the lug patterns are the same or not....

90-02 4-lug Accords are 4x114.3
98-02 5-lug Accords are 5x114.3

All the Chevy Luminas I can find are 5-lug and are 5x115

That's going to be a bit of a leap in diameter size. From 24.9" to 25.9".
This will affect handling, braking, acceleration and your speedometer will be off.
