Default JDM d15B in an 89 Hatch

So I am more than likely picking up a D15B for my 89 Hatch. Finally found a good deal on one. The only problem is it isn't a full swap. It's the engine, intake, and 5 speed hydro tranny. I think I have a cable trans if I remember (d15b2 w/ 4 spd manual) and I know I need to convert from OBD0 to OBD1.

Will my Dizzy from my engine work on the new one? I've heard mixed things here. I've read d15 is d15, I've read the internals are different.

Also, will my exhaust mani work from my current engine or should I upgrade that while I'm doing the swap? I have read they aren't really that restrictive and I've read that swapping headers is a huge boost in power. I'm at a loss.

The mounts should match up and the new engine has the mounts still on it anyways. I've never done a swap like this, but I've been reading up on it.

Will my shift linkage from the current car work on the new engine?

And an ECU, do I go for a stock one or try and find a p28 chipped for this engine?

Just need some help and I wanted to make a ME thread for all the information since I could search more than I have and find more things to confused me. But it's time to make my hatch a real civic, with a vtec.

Thanks. If anyone has any suggestions for parts and whatnot, let me know. I'm just excited to get an engine in my car with more than 70 bhp. And that was from the factory, I'm sure 20 years and 200k has done a number on the ponys.

Here's the shots of the engine as it is from the for sale listing.

Anything I didn't mention that I would definitely need? It doesn't have the wiring harness.
