Icon2 Side marker problem?

Hello h-t. I am currently having a problem with both of my sidemarkers inside of my corners on my 91 std hatch. This problem has been going on ever since I got the car. It's only sometimes when I turn on the car they work. Then I turn the blinkers on and they stop flashing. Sometimes they would even flicker on and off when I turn off the car and take out the key. I know its not the relay because the rest of the lights still blinkchecked fuses and everything, even my bumper turn signals work fine. Sometimes the sidemarkers even start flickering, it I even turn on the right blinker and the left one turns on. Idk if anyone else has had this problem but help on this problem will really be appreciated. Thanks.

Check the bulbs and check their sockets if you haven't yet. Clean them up if needed, corrosion can do weird things to the lighting system.
