I havent heard anything about functionality..

 

I think this style hatch would reduce cargo space. My biggest concern there would be if I could still fit four wheels, tools, camping equipment, etc. for track days. It also looks like visibility would be reduced as well.

 

Dang that is really ugly. I wonder what the weight savings are for this monstrosity.

 

According to them:
Stock = 30kg
Z-Spec = 8kg

Looks like the love child of an integra and del Sol. A mullet would be pretty freaking great with this.

 

Yeah, wondering what the aero would be like on that... more or less drag than stock? Does it weigh less than a composite hatch with lexan?

 

if it's lighter and has a functional purpose then who cares if it looks hideous?

That's a huge weight saving. It mostly came from the much smaller rear glass.
