Hey every1 just had a couple questions
first thing fist I just got a prelude for about 900 and just learned that it came with a f22b jdm dohc motor lucky me ��
sold to me because water pump was needed
ok it runs fine and I wanna. Try something a little crazy

1.is it true that the h23 non vtec cams would fit my f22b head?
2. Would the f/h series itb's fit the f22 head?
3. Can I build the f22b block with the same parts as the sohc? Would the bore size be the same

I'm not thinking about swaps
I'm not thinking about boost
all motor is the goal
vtec is beautiful but maybe next time

the f22b dohc shares the same head intake and headers as the h23a1!

h22 intake and headers will not fit that head

yes it is 85mm bore

 

Awesome thanks would the fuel injectors work from the h23 fit the f22

its like an h23a1 but 85mm bore instead of 87! and it has iron sleeve(f22b) vs frm sleeves(h23a1)

 

Haven't seen one In a few year but they were a cool engine to start with.
