Default Help with stock air intake

I took off my intake and put in a cold air a while ago, now its winter -20 and its getting way to cold of air. I looked online but I couldnt find a diagram. I forgot how I took the hole intake off. mainly the resonator behind the bumper and some of the things that bolt up. Any pics would be great too. thanks! 1995 honda accord ex 2.2 vtec

Forget the bottom resonator if you don't remember how it goes. Just drop everything back in, pretty straight forward.

The resonator chamber is behind the inner fender plastic liner. Install the factory air cleaner assembly, it is high enough off the ground that it will not allow water/snow induction.

If you are sucking in snow you are either missing the inner fender, which installing the resonator chamber will not prevent snow induction, or are trying to plow your car through two feet of snow.

If you are missing the inner fender then you will need to purchase that first.

Default Need help re-installing intake resonator and inner fender

I am re-installing the stock intake resonator, and I am putting a new inner fender lining in. The lining was ripped out when I went in a ditch and I am finally getting a new one. I'm pretty sure I should install the resonator first, but I can't figure out how. I want to put it back in even if it isn't necessary. 1995 honda accord ex 4 cylinder sedan.

I would think it would only go in one way. Install the air cleaner housing first and that should help direct you. Maybe this helps: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-95-96-9...7f7932&vxp=mtr

The resonator suitcase is bolted to the outside of the fender apron with two bolts, or was it studs. It can only go on one way, and has a triangular snorkel on top where there is a rubber coupling for the bottom of the air box to stick through. IIRC it doesn't matter which part goes on first.

Look up 'majestic honda' and go to the part section there will be a few diagrams of what the resonator/air cleaner intake tract looks like. On the EX there are a few solenoids and a vacuum reservoir in the engine bay IIRC.

Also can we get a...

Do I need to install the resonator before I put a new inner fender lining in? My lining was ripped out from an accident and I am waiting on it in the mail. Can I install the resonator now than that later? Or do I need to install it first?

If you install the fender liner first you won't be able to install the resonator.
