Icon2 HELP! Manual Transmission 90-93 and 94-97

I recently was in the market for a manual transmission for my 90 Honda Accord LX. (H2A5) I found a guy that had the one i needed. I purchased it from him unaware that he had actually sold me a manual transmission for a 94-97 Honda Accord.(P2U5) I checked out somethings online, and found out that the gear ratios are the same, but the VSS hookup is way different. Is there any possible way to make this transmission work in my car? If anyone knows anything about this, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can't you just un-bolt the old one out and put it in the 94-97 Accord's trans? Also, you will have to tap and make new threads for one of the tranny mount stud on the trans housing. 90-93 Accord has different mount pattern.

No, just line up your mount up to the transmission and tap out the hole that doesnt line up.
