Need help with Power Steering!
My buddy and I pulled a DC2 ps rack from the junkyard but accidentally cut some lines we weren't supposed to, oops! Anyway, I tried to find the OEM replacement part from Acura but that part has been discontinued. Can some one explain what these lines do opposed to the civic rack which doesn't have them? And also, can I just plug them up with a bolt or do I have to have these lines connected?
Item number 21 and 22.

Yeah, I want to make my nrg quick release last as long as possible. I've thought about a manual rack but not really sure if I want it.
I don't know if you know but 21and 22 go into 17 and then two lines from 17 go up to the pump/reservoir. Picture looks misleading. Thanks.

That's correct. There should be 4 ports on the valve body. Two go to the rack and the other two are in and out to/from the pump.

If I put a manual rack, it'll wear out the ball bearings in the quick release faster won't it? Theoretically anyway.
I don't have a picture but essentially just cut 21 and 22 in half. Buddy went crazy with the cutting pliers trying to get it out, lol.
