Wierd temp issue this morning
So like a lot of you guys I don't drive my ITR in the winter. It had been sitting for a few months like always until today when I took it out to have the tires replaced and have new new battery installed down the road.
THe problem that I encountered was the the temp gauge in the dash never got over 1/4 mark. When I turned on the blower and heat the gauge went down all the way to The C mark. It stayed between those variances thoughout my trip (75 miles) from home to shop to home.
Now here is the funny part with the car idling the temp would rise to the normal mark ( slightly below the 1/2 mark) and stay there with the heat blasting or not.
IM not sure where to trouble shoot. Could it be the thermostat, temp sensor, fan switch.

Updating this thread. I replaced the Tstat today and that fixed the problem. The old Tstat was two years old however then I pulled it out it looked normal and was not stuck open.
Oh well
