Default EBP EM1 build/resto thread

so im starting what is going to be a long and most like aggrivating build. i just picked up this 2000 EBP EM1. i had a brand new MR EM1 back in 2000 and have been dying for another one ever since. found this shell pretty local on craigslist and after some haggling and going back and forth i brought her home. needs a few parts but over all its a clean and rust free shell with potential. with em1's becoming more rare these days, i figured id restore this and bring it back to life. i have a lot of parts already built/restored that ill be using on this which ill go over later. plans for this car all motor street car, will probably be driven once a week or less, equal amounts of form and function. i love a functional car but in my eyes it has to look good too. anyway, onto a few quick pics of the car in what will be its resting place until she gets on the road . . . .

edit: pic fail, lets try this again. . .

all around sports car. i want it to be fast around corners and straight line, look good, just be fun to drive any way possible. once i upload the pics of the motor and what suspension stuff i have done already ill go more indepth. motor is fully built and suspension has been por15'd. this car is basically going to get a complete top to bottom resto

here is some of what i have already done for the car. . .

rear trailing arms por15'd, spindles sandblasted and painted, just waiting on the scarebird brackets and than they will get ep3 rotors and rsx calipers bolted onto them

next are the integra knuckles, por15'd new bearings, new hubs, new ball joints, mini cooper 11" rotors and accord v6 caliper.

new type r sway bar is sitting in the backgroung there along with a sandblasted/painted halfshaft

motor is b20 bottom, p72 head. eagle rods and crank, supertech pistons, gsr girldle, arp mains and head studs, head is p&p with valve job, skunk tuner 3 cams, supertech springs/retainers, skunk flat face valves, bbk mani, hytech big tube replica, harness is almost done. compression should be around 13, plan on running cam2 since its local and e85 is not. hoping to make around 225whp.

i have all sorts of other parts floating around too but these are the main pieces, ill go over the rest once i get all my pics uploaded and on here
