Hello everybody I have a 1998 civic lx and recently when i turn the steering wheel in either direction I hear a squeak. I checked the power steering fluid but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could possibly cause the squeaking? Oh the squeaking comes from the outside of the car not at the wheel.

 

tighten or replace drive belts

 

Belt squeal?

If not, check lower ball joints.

Ok guys sorry i took long. The problem was indeed belt squeal. Im trying to send a beer but since im one mobile it blanks out my text. But nonetheless i send a beer if only verbally. Thanks!!
