i bought civic 82 with 1500 CC motor ,
i discover that it had a semi automatic transmission , that have to start from L then to star then to D ,
my question can i install any advanced fully automatic tranmission from newer honda 84 to 86 on the same engine or i have to replace engine as well ?

 

I do not believe the 84-86 transmission will fit. You might have better luck swapping to a 5 speed transmission from any 80-83.
