I'm trying to get all the pieces I need to get a complete front end again on my '90 hatch and I'm wondering what parts I need to get to complete it.

right now I have just the main beam with the two circles on either side (part number 21 on the picture below)

it looks like I will need everything in between that and the bumper face to complete the front end? Or are there parts that aren't required to fit the bumper onto the car. It seems like my best bet is to go to the junkyard and try to find an ef and take the whole front end..

 

Yup call around. Somebody is bound to have one. You can go through the dealer but it's going to be VERY VERY expensive and they may not have parts in stock due to the age of the car.

 

Isn't part 21 for the rear bumper?

 

Part 21 is the rear bumper support. I just put together my 91 ED front end last summer your going to need numbers 17/19 same part opposite side.. these connect front bumper to fenders. They recommend using 16 which is the foam support... I didn't use it personally cause we are driving cars made outta tin anyways haha.. So if interested I can sell you mine an ship via PayPal. Also going to need part 1 which is front bumper filler/ 2 10 mil bolts bolt that to the front right next to the head lights.. an 2 more 10mil bolts bolt the filler to the fenders. Part 14 is nice to have as well its a small rubber blocker you slide onto the bumper filler that gives the front headlights some support when hitting bumps... I re-used mine for this. Thats really about it unless your replacing the whole front bumper support which is only held on by 8 12mm bolts on the front. Last there is a 10mm bolt that goes underneath the front bumper cover to support it, which connects to the bottom radiator support. If I made this to confusing feel free to contact me with a message.
