i just purchased a 88 civic sedan, everything works perfect the only problem that i have is that the rear driver side door wont open from inside or outside. does anyone know how to fix this problem

 

I just did a quick search and found a few threads dealing with this but this was the only EF specific one.

Does locking or unlocking the door do anything? The linkage that locks and unlocks the door could be broken/disconnected, or it could be the linkage for the inner and outer handle.

These dont have child safety switches do they?
