JDM Cluster Help
i have a problem with my JDM ITR Cluster it wont plug straight into 2000/2001 ITR's
i'm pretty paranoid about switching the JDM Gauge Faces onto the 2000/2001 ITR circuit board
i've tried and have broken some clips already but otherwise the cluster isnt busted
whats the best way to pry apart the gauge faces from the circuit board
i wonder if spoon clusters plug into 2000/2001 ITR's w/o swapping the circuit boards

Remove 3 screws holding in gas tank gauge.
Remove 3 screws holding on tach.
Remove 4 screws holding on speedometer.
Remove 3 screws holding on water temp gauge.
Remove 3 screws holding on gauge cluster bezel.
Once you've removed all of those screws, simply disconnect all the tabs and the cluster will split into two parts.
I recommend you split the cluster with the gauge faces facing to the ground.
From there it is just a matter of swapping the actual gauges and then snapping the cluster back together and putting all the screws back in.
If you have any more questions, feel free to IM me.

dang, the walking helms guide.
I'm more like the crappy Chiltons manual that has some info, but doesn't seem to have the info you want when you really need it.

Received an IM on this subject, so just wanted to add a little more clarification.
No recalibration of the gauges is necessary because this is not a swapping of needles or gauge faces, but rather a swapping of the entire gauges themselves.
This is one of those things that sounds much more complicated than it really is. Once you get the cluster opened up, it's clear what needs to be done.
