seatbelts/seatbelt latches
got a set of srt4 seats im currently installing into my 98 hatch.
one issue im having is the civic seat belts don't go into the latch on the seats. what differentiated one seat belt metal clip thing from another? if i just grind the stock on to a thinner width and stick it in am i ok or do the holes in the middle affect anything?

There can be a number of diff.
Grinding the "clip" thinner may or may not work.
A better bet is to use the original 98 hatch belts, even if mods are needed to attatch them to the srt4 seats.
I have had upholstery shops "stich" mounting hardwhere to belts to fit a number of cars, [hotrods].
Right now we are installing Acura Legend seat belts into a 63 Chevy PU with Saub bucket seats. 94
