Default RSX cruise control switch

hello guys,
just a quick question, the forum is too big for searching that detail..

Is the RSX cruise switch the same with the s2000 (ap1) switch? I'm referring on the steering wheel cruise control switch. The RSX switch has 3 positions vs the s2000 one that has only 2.
So can I mount the RSX switch into the s2000 (ap1) steering wheel? I don't want to be functional, just if it can be mounted.

Here's the s2000 switch

and the RSX switch

Any help is appreciated
Thanks!

I haven't physically seen one from the S2K but if you just want to mount it you could do so yeah. I mounted my cruise on my ITR steering wheel by just making my own mount holes in the plastic housing. So if they don't align perfectly you could still make your own

hi, thanks for your reply

After some research, I found out that the RSX switch is the same with the s2000 ap2 switch. They have the same part number. So my question is if I can mount the s2000 ap2 switch into an s2000 ap1 steering wheel..

Now about your answer, it makes me feel more comfortable, but what about the shape of the switch? They look the same, but are they? I can mount it with 2 different holes, but if it creates some gaps between the steering wheel, that wouldn't be so nice result..

Yes. It should be a direct fit without any modifications. There shouldn't be any gaps.
