hi i hav jst purchased a 98 honda accord sir-t running a f20b sohc vtec engine.
sometimes when accelerating the engine has much less power and starts 2 detonate around 5500rpm. i plugged a diagnostic scanner in and it came up with map sensor fault so i replaced map sensor but i stil have the problem. any ideas what i should check/replace next or any1 else had this problem. im thinking it could possibly be the o2 sensor, a vacuum leak or the wiring harness tht plugs on2 the map sensor.
any help or ideas would be great thanks.

 

what ecu are you running?

 

jst the factory ecu, no engine mods except pod filter.
