Default Planning to buy a German car. How is a Volkswagen Passat?

I have a friend who bought a new VW Passat 5 months ago. He like it very much.
So, I also started thinking to buy a VW Passat.
What are your impressions of this car?
Where can I buy it? What reliable dealers can you suggest?

I can say that VW Passat has the 2.5L inline 5 cylinder engine. When this inline 5 cylinder is coupled with the standard 5 speed transmission found in the S model, the award winning midsize sedan is rated to get at least 22 miles per gallon in the city and up to 32 miles per gallon during a highway driving.
Check vwpassatlakewood.com - they offer pretty good new and used Volkswagen vehicles.
The VW keeps their reputation of sedans that have a great combination of power and efficiency, they are perfect for any family on a budget.

My wife wants one, but I just can't bring myself to buy it for her. Her current Jetta has had so many electrical problems, and the new Passat is not top of its class in anything really. They aren't bad, but I would rather spend the money on a new Ford.
