Default Fuel pump assembly horsepower rating?

How much hp is the stock fuel pump assembley good for with an after market pump in it such as a walbro 255. Is there any modification that can be done to make the assembley more efficient\ after market assembley?

255 walbro pump is good for 550-600 on gas and 375-425 on ethanol, conservatively

Oh okay so the pumps good for that HP but what about the assembly that holds the pump? Do people have issues with that when running a higher HP?

Why would the "assembly" allow for less HP?

You will be fine with a stock hangar
