This post is for anyone having a high emissions reading and failing as a result. I was going through emissions and getting a really high reading. I replaced the distributor, plugs, wires, and catalyst converter with a small effect on my test results. There was a strong odor of raw fuel the whole time so finally I replaced the main throttle body fuel injector and BAM! Problem solved. Hopefully this post will help prevent at least one person from spending as much money as I did trying to locate the source of the problem.
