-------2005 Acura RSX Type-S------
After about 8 years of owning this glorious automobile, it's come time to let it go.
I am the sole owner, it currently has 116,xxx on the clock and it's going up slowly but surely as this is my DD. Clean title, no accidents, the whole 9. Located in lower Westchester near White Plains.
ASKING $9750, OBO
Current setup of my 2005 SSM Acura RSX Type-S:
- AEM V2 Intake
- Fujitsubo PG exhaust
- Hondata IMG
- Hondata reflashed ECU
- ESMM inserts
- A-Spec Shift ****
- Aftermarket all-weather mats
- 15% tint all around
- New starter 20k miles ago
GOOD:
- No joke, this car runs like the day I got it. The motor is strong and has been very well maintained since the day it was purchased. Shifts smoothly, pulls hard, and is amazingly fun to drive. Oil changes done regularly, and probably more frequently than needed.
- Interior is CLEAN, the backseat has been sat in like 10 times over nearly as many years.
- Smoke free, never had an animal in the car
- Barely year old Goodyears on the front
NOT-SO-GOOD:
- Front and rear bumpers have a few medium-sized paint scrapes. Nothing major (or even really visible from 10 feet), but still. This is what happens when you park in a crowded parking garage.
- The e-brake is a little jacked up right now. It is 100% functional and works, however the button has come off and requires a little wiggling to engage at the moment.
- Driver's side carpet is missing and the carpet in the car is torn. you can't see it with the carpet over it, so it's not really an issue at all, but again, needed to mention.
- A couple dents/dings around the hood and passenger side. Nothing major or even worth noting other than a dime-sized dent around the passenger door.
- Airbag light is on because I recently removed my Recaros and have not reset the light. Easy fix.
- Bulb for the AC/Heat control out
- Rattle at startup from loose cat shield. This may or may not be taken care of by the time of sale, free time pending.
I'm really trying to represent the car honestly here so I don't waste anyone's time. If you want an incredibly reliable car that's a blast to drive and will probably last you another 200k miles, then this is it. Unfortunately for me, an expanding family means four doors are necessary and it's time to part with the only car I've ever really loved. I hope whoever it goes to gets to enjoy it as much as I have over the years.
Thanks for checking!
Dan
