H&R sport spring question
Okay looking into buying a set of sport springs as well as new koni struts. My question is why are there two different part numbers, 51865 and 51865-2 listed for the sport springs but all of their other springs are the same part numbers for 96-00 civic and civic si. Does the 99-00 SI have a different rear setup than any other civic? I gave H&R a call and that is what they are telling me. That the rear spring is different. Anyone have any experience or insight?
The only thing I can think of is that the h&r rear spring rate must be slightly different. The si oem shocks and springs are different but dimensionally should be the same as all ek.
H&R told me that integra sport springs are designed to ride on the bump stops. I thought that was interesting....and disturbing.

Hahaha. Yeaa I'm not quite sure if they know what they're talking about. Anyhow, after thinking about it through my entire shift at work.
I'm thinking the fronts are what is going to be different seeing as though the B-series motors do weight more than the d-series. Therefore offsetting the weight, so they introduced a stiffer springrate for the b-series? Just my take.
Did a metric sh-t ton of googling, other people are saying using the 51865-2 will actually make the car with a d-series ride higher in the front.

whutttt maybe that's why my car rode like **** when I had H&R Sport on Koni shocks back in the day. I thought they dropped the car way too much for the spring rate they had.
