Default s2000 fuel setup advice 600whp

Ok guys i have a bunch of parts ready for my ap1 it has a walbro 255 in it now and id1000's making 443whp no issues. I want to get 600whp on 93octane, i was wondering if buying a fuel blown fuel rail and FPR was worth it/do i need it? I have tried to research what the factory fuel rail will hold but couldnt find any info. Also would a 255 be stretching it or should i get the 400? I didnt want to waste the money on a fuel rail and pump if I didnt need it. I see some guys do the bosche inline but not sure which route to go at all and flustered . Might do a e85 tune to and see what i can get out of it. Any info would be great im looking for some feedback trying to get the rest of my odds and ends parts this week

Full-Blown has a dual 255 setup or you could use a 255 with a bosch 044. Check out the Inline Pro Fuel rail, I think its only a few hundred dollars. You mostly likely wont hit 600 on pump fuel, I dont think anyone on our car has. The motor isnt big enough and doesnt have enough timing, most 4 bangers are maxed out around 500 on pump fuels. E85 would be your best bet but remember you use a lot more fuel but you could make A LOT more power.

get a aeromotive 400 or DW 304 pump.
single intank on e85 will do it with ease

600 on pump? Not likely. And I'm being nice. Either get the 400lph Walbro or keep the 255 and add a 044 inline ahead of the filter. I've seen stock lines and rail support 600 but that's pushing it. Oh and race gas. Doubt you can do 600 on e85 without more changes. Race gas should be doable.

im pretty much set on the bosche inline and just leaving my 255 in but i dont see why 600whp is to big of a deal guys made 550whp without even cracking the motors open on pump gas in 2010 and still do and ive seen e85 tunes up in the 700s. I realize 600 on pump is probably about max on my id1000s but im not sure about the rails max ect was hoping some guys with big numbers chimed in.

Not enough timing, 550 is maxing it out on pump fuel. Ask any good tuner and they will tell you 600 wont happen. If you wanna make more power on pump fuel put a V8 in it or else it wont happen.

Not a question of the motor being able to handle it.

Question is: is your fuel system able to handle it. I can almost certainly say the guys making 500+ on pump are NOT using stock lines/rail etc.

You need significantly more fuel volume with ethanol hence the post above me (Dual 255's and -10 lines). Dual 255's will flow much more fuel than a 255 w/a 044 inline. You'll run out of fuel volume before you run out of injector. A lot of people don't realize you can run the ID injectors at significantly higher pressures than most other injectors, resulting in rather impressive performance figures from them.

-10 is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overkill
idk why people go way too big.
if on gas stock lines can support 600 but i will not push it much passed that.
less is better if you want to buy a 044 to add inline go ahead but i would just run ONE single intank which there are 4-5 intank poumps to handle it.
i ran a DW intank on E85 and made damn near 600 with -8 feed and return. I made 560 on C16 with stock lines in my S13.

on e85 your going to need bigger injectors than the id1000 to hit +500-550 you could do id2000s with a fb 340 intank and a BAP and be good for well over 600! thats the setup im doin is just fic2150s fb340 and BAP and probably a rail with stock lines

Listen to me... lol This is what you need. You wont be able to make 600whp on E85 with your current setup. Easiest and cheapest way to make 600 for you would just be swap out the 255 for a 340. i would stay away from the walbro 400. it requires to much rewiring, and fab work to make it work properly. If your set on E85 the most 1000cc will do is about 500-550whp. but youll sill need a double pumper, new lines, rail, regulator.

600whp on Gas/Meth/Race Gas
-ID1000
-340lph FullBlown or Aeromotive Single Pump

600whp on Ethanol
-ID1600 (I would get ID2000 to have room to grow)
-Full Blown Double Pumper
-Upgraded Fuel Rail
-Fuel Pressure Regulator

again you DO NOT NEED A DOUBLE PUMP FOR 600WHP
if you want to spend extra $ go ahead

This isn't difficult guys.

Gasoline (race or pump) system:
600 whp with ~20% dt loss = ~720 flywheel HP
720 x .63 = 453 lb/hr

453 / 4 = 113.4 lb/hr per cylinder REQUIRED which means you need:
113.4 x 1.15 = 130 lb/hr injectors (ideally) to retain a 15% safety margin

Your pump always needs to do 15% more than the injectors, so let X represent whatever size injectors you choose:
X x 4 = ____ x 1.15 = minimum fuel pump flow at max. system pressure

Or you can run bigger injectors than your pump can support so your tuner loses fuel pressure on the dyno. Seems to be the fad these days. It's awesome!

E85 system:
720 x .82 = 590 lb/hr

590 / 4 = 147.6 lb/hr per cylinder REQUIRED which means you need:
147.6 x 1.15 = 169.7 lb/hr injectors (ideally) to retain a 15% safety margin

Your pump always needs to do 15% more than the injectors, so let X represent whatever size injectors you choose:
X x 4 = ____ x 1.15 = minimum fuel pump flow at max. system pressure

Waste of money and over complicated.

Sell ID1000's - Get some ID2000's. Guys making 800+ with the 2000's.
