95 Del sol: Squeaking sound every time I accelerate.

I notice that there is a squeaking sound every time I press on the gas and accelerate. I wasn't sure if it was the TB tensioner/spring or something else. Any ideas what it could be?

I'm not sure. The squeak is coming from the TB area. I checked the belt and it's perfectly fine. I'll check the heating shield. I highly doubt it.

Re-tension the belt.

Not necessarily. First try re-tensioning the belt as per the service manual. Also inspect the belt while you're at it.
