Default Rebuilding the rear suspension... suggestions?

Hi, I bought an EH2 a few months ago and didn't realize until I took it to the alignment guy that it has quite the suspension lean and a few things broken. Currently replaced are both outer tie rod ends, the four outer bushings and bolts on the lower control arms, and the passenger lower ball joint.

Here are his notes:

L/F Strut mount to LCA bushing is cracked
R/F Motor to frame horn mount is cracked
R/I C/V boot has a hole in it
Ride height 1" taller on R/F fender than L/F fender
Nearly 2 degree camber split in front- may be result of ride height difference
Bad R/R upper control arm bushing (bushing may not be sold separately)

Bump steer is 2 degrees toe out with driver

"This car is beyond an alignment job. It can either be driven as it is once the rear control arm is replaced, or I can try to find the cause of these other things. It will get fairly expensive since there is no way to know how long it will take to find the answers."
The ultimate plan on this thing is to get the suspension in good, safe condition, leveled out and able to pass tech inspection. And lowered. Mainly a hypermiler/daily but I want to use it on the autocross or road course as well.

So, I've decided to start collecting parts to rectify the situation. Going to pick up a camber kit and whatnot (things that the alignment guy recommended replacing) and basically put everything in at once, then get it aligned again. I don't have a lot of money coming in at the moment so it'll take awhile to make all this happen.

My main question is this- are Ebay camber kits a terrible idea? I have been running super cheap Ebay coilovers on my '81 VW for a few years and have no problem with the ride quality. Just a bit concerned that vital parts like upper control arms need to be up to OE standards. Name brand stuff seems to be about twice the cost of Ebay stuff, so I'm asking you guys the dreaded question... is it worth it?

Are cheap suspension parts going to blow up on me, or am I over-thinking this? I want to save money, but also to make sure the car is safe and road-worthy, by SCCA standards, not just China standards.

As a corollary, if name brand is the only safe way to go, which ones should I look at? I've been into VW's for the past five years and don't know a lot about Hondas.

Thanks in advance, sirs.
