so i recently swap my 2000 civic to a fresh built lsvtec and my CEL light turned on its throwing code 16 which is fuel injector im running stock ls injectors with obd1 to obd2b conversion harness . the wire are set correctly and car runs fine . i need help i have no idea why im getting code 16 .

 

The cause to that particular cel is....bad wiring or unplugged / defective fuel injector

I would check the wiring and clips for the injectors...or...maybe one of the injectors is bad..hmmmm

 

if one of the injector is bad wouldnt the car not run right ?

 

Have you tried a different ecu? Which are you using now?

 

im runing a chiped p28 and no havent tried a diffrent ecu .

 

Check the fuel injector #1 ground wire that runs from the injector to the ECU.

 

just checked it and its good

 

Another thing is the incorrect injector resistance is throwing the code. Measure resistance across the terminals of each injector. Test whether all 4 injector clips get battery voltage. If so, test whether the voltage reaches the 4 ECU pins.

Other then what I listed, I am out of options bro
