Default #1,and 2 spark plug soaked in oil why!?!?

so tonite i find a nice little surprise i made a run down to my locale vato zone
for some spark plug wires and when i go to change them out i find #1 and 2 wires soaked in oil. this is the second time i've seen this my buddies old 94 dc
(same year as mine) had the same problem change out the vc with others new gasket and oil change just to make sure it didn't have more than enough
oil and it still did it i know most are thinking it's the vc gasket but i've already replaced it

um, cheap gasket?? did you clean out where the seal sits? use a little silicone? make sure there is no oil on the surfaces the gasket sits when replacing.

rubber seals harden around the plugs between the VC and head. buy a complete valve cover set, clean well and install it. it's usually those rubber o rings that harden and start leaking

fel-pro is the best bang for the buck. you get a new valve cover gasket, the o rings and all the button seals for less than half of oem

Make sure you use a quality gasket. Cheap gaskets do not fit correctly and may not allow the VC to seal properly. Make sure you replace the fouled plugs.
