I made another post but no one replied so im going to try this one out.Hey im new to this forum and cars lol. 1Whats a basemap? 2Whats tuning ecu on crome mean? 3what does it mean when you tune an ecu? 4What do you get from tuning an ecu? what do you need to turbo your honda i just got an ebay turbo kit and how do i know how much psi i can get up too? its a stock d16z6vtec engine with nothing done to it besides a cold air intake from ebay and a muffler from ebay. Sorry dont mind my stupidity im new to cars and i just got started.

 

You only need to make 1 post, Mods will delete multi-post of same subject. 1st you need to read. Many HT members will not respond well to this posting. Also you need to post up more info about your car what yr/model/plans/budget <-- You'll get better responses. Thats good your very interested in Honda's, welcome. As for ebay "performance", ill just say you get what you pay for. Don't try and save money buying cheap parts(not saying your cheap). Your going to end up having to replace the same parts weeks/months down the road.

As for D-series engines- stock your not going to see major HP gains. Internals are not the strongest. I would say 180-200hp is safe.
