anyone who can help, please do. =D. i have a 98 GSR. no check engine light, i have put in new ngk spark plug and wires after this starting happening and no luck on fixing it......anyone have any idea what can be the problem?? also when driving it bogs on and off. seems like a sock stuck in the intake tube but nothings stuck in there and it slowly bogs down til i let go of gas then push on it again........once i push on the gas again it goes away til some time later then it comes back. this only happens when the engine is warmed up. thanks in advance guys!

Vaccuum leak?

 

Did you wash your engine recently? If so water may have gotten inside where the spark plug meet with the wires, but if not sounds like a fuel injector is bad or maybe bad fuel

 

Try cleaning your idle air control valve.

 

thanks for the replies you guys. so this is what i have done today and it seems to have fixed the problem.

1. cleaned the iacv

2. slapped on a new fuel filter (it really dont matter on the brand. i went to o'riellys and got a fram 7599 for $26. works the same as an oem one. eventually it will need to be replaced again in 30k-50k miles.)

running good right now and hopefully it wont come back. you'll have to crank the engine a few times after the install to get it going again. took me like 10 times for it to turn over. if i don't post back here in a few days then it has solved my problem. this info is for the next person who is searching for answers.
