why build when you can easily swap an h22 which is a true performance motor not some slow single cam i actually just finished a h23a vtec swap and im loving it. plus when i was looking to rebuild my old motor all there was is stock stuff so i decided that the f23 was not a good base motor unlike the d series. but i will tell you this if want to play with the f23 try the g23 swap on it and ive heard that k series pistons fit the f23 don't quote me but that's what i've read.

Could be wrong, but I'm sure Bisimoto makes parts for the f23. Might want to check there. Read positives & a few negatives about his products, but I have no personal experience with them myself.

Bisi would be the guy to go for, for F-Series parts.

Or you could've just go G23 and run K20 pistons.

Hey I was reading through these threads for a good accord rebuild and it seems like you know a thing or two? I could really use your help.

have you tried thmotorsports.com they have a few parts for f23a1 and is a good place to start. also bisimoto makes a cam regrind for nitrous, all motor, and turbo applications as well as +1mm valves, valve springs and retainers. you can use k20a2 pistons to raise compression.

The F23 is good.

The SOHC head flows well. 300 CFM is very well. Some say the intake is a weak link. There are no aftermarket pieces offered. The runners have length and are matched to head , so the opening must be in question. Size in diameter and volume being the important facts. My F23a1 was 55mm upper opening diameter. Not abysmally small , but under a satisfactory margin. The insides are hollowed out, no real baffles to impede flow. What did I do , sent my TB and upper intake to MaxBore. They will safely bore the items to around 60mm. 60mm is better for this engines operating range. Seemed to open up the curve after 4000rpm.

The H22 5 speed should be considered as an alternative to the P2a8 5 speed. Synchrotech are some nice guys, don't forget to modify the 5 th gear if you go with the H22 box.

A turbocharger package of some sort would be next on the agenda. I like Tial , Greddy, and Turbonetics' hardware. You cannot go wrong with a T3/04.

Hondata with boost control solenoid . Tons of tuning options, freedom.

RC injectors 650- 750cc

My Accord turned out nice, not having to buy anything exotic.I started with the DNA turbo kit and replaced the items as I got to know the systems. I didn't want to break anything expensive in discovery, and wanted to pay the proper people for the technology. Performs like a hot Saab 9-3 if you had driven that.

Wiseco makes pistons. Crower makes rods. ARP fasteners. These things are not really needed with a pump gas friendly turbo build.

My Experience with the ebay turbo kit was... good.

summit racing. You have to call the company and you can set up a cart right over the phone. They have everything you need but the pistons. In the middle of a rebuild now. Great place
