ecu upgrade help
Looking to change out my stock ecu. What should I look for and what all does this consist of when changing one out. Am I going to need to tune the motor to the new ecu.
Not too sure why actually. I guess I thought it would help. Don't know a whole lot about this. Just want my car to run smoother as an everyday driver. Not looking for a higher et just a little more ***. It's more of a track car then a strip car. At least that's what om aiming for when she is done. Can u help. Any suggestion is appreciated.
Because you didn't get the answer you were expecting somehow that is not helping? I can reply anywhere I chose in a public forum. the reality is that you have no damn clue what you're even asking about or why. Your questions are senseless and bereft of any true thought behind them so they cannot be answered. Don't catch an attitude because you don't know what it is you're asking.
"I want to change it out but I don't know why". No solid goals for the car other than "more performance". Ever heard the phrase "If it aint broke..."? If you don't have a legitimate goal, such as "making XX more horsepower" or something of that nature then you won't get any relevant answers.
