Default Multifunction Switch Removal

Hi,
Anybody got a link to step by step instructions on how to remove the Multifunction Switch on a 91 Accord? Couldn't find anything in the FAQ or Google.
Thanks again!

Which multifunction switch are you referring to? Refresh my memory. It's been a while since i have touched a 4th gen, let alone an accord

Headlight on, off, high beam, turn signals and espresso maker control, OK no espresso maker. Located on the left side on the column sitting in the drivers seat.

I'm having strange intermittent issues with the DRL indicator and DRL lights, High Beam indicator and the drivers side high beam light working intermittently. I swapped fuses, relays, bulbs and cleaned up any ground wires I could locate under the hood.

I'm at the point where I want to look at the MFS cuz I'm running out of options.

Thanks for your time and advice on this matter!

Take the steering wheel column cover off (black plastic or whatever color your interior is) behind the steering wheel around the column and it is pretty much self explanatory after that. Not a whole lot to it

Thank you! Just didn't want to start pulling the steering wheel if I didn't have to.

So I got sidetracked and didn't get to pulling the Multifunction Switch. I got to thinking about the symptoms I was having and decided to do more research online before I started down this road. I'm glad I did! I was able to locate a YouTube vid on the replacement or repair of the daytime running light module on a 97 Accord. I was wondering if the 91 had such a module...it doesn't. Well not so fast, it does but its not located in the same place as later generation Honda's.

I have another parts car to pull components from so I started the parts car up to confirm the DRL's would come on and they did. I yanked the module and stuffed it into the 91 and to my amazement everything started working again. High beams, High beam indicator, DRL's, DLR indicator was off....man life is good again!

Nope! Shut the car off and restarted it and I was back to where I started, WTF!!!

I wiggled the plug hard that goes into the module and all the sudden we are good again. Took the car into town made about 5 stops and starts and still good.

At this point I would have to assume I have an issue with the wiring harness/plug and not with the module but I really couldn't say.

Going to go pour myself a stiff one!
