NC FS: Honda S2000 01 Silverstone AP1 NC asheville
can you go more in detail about the front end collision? How bad was it? was it at a high speed rate? did the air bags deploy? what was needed to be replaced? was there mechanical issues needed to be fixed due to the accident? was the ABS light on before or after the collision? Is a rebuilt title the same as salvage or is it worse?
Rebuilt title means the car was deemed "total loss" at one point, it usually happens when the cost to fix the car is more than the car is worth.
I bought the car this way so I dont know the story. You must realize that the car is 12 years old, if the bumper got scratched an insurance company would just about "total" the car. These cars have the passenger side air bag built in the dash so even if the air bags deploy the car is considered "totaled" on an 01 model. I do know that it was from a wreck, not theft or water.

I cant find any damage sir. The airbags deploying alone will total an 01 with the passenger side air bag built in, its a full dash swap. insurance companies deem a 01 a total piece of junk basically.
Bump for a killer deal from a local Asheville guy! If I did not already own an S2K you would have already sold this car. Even with a rebuilt title that is a very fair price. These cars have been appreciating in value over the last few years.
Speaking of rebuilt titles my wife's car is a Fit that has rebuilt title. When I tracked the VIN# I found that it was totaled by the insurance company for wet floor mats. We have put 90k miles on the car since with absolutely no problem. If the S2K has been running well for years and has a straight frame jump on this deal.
Try this free site it will give some info on the VIN#.
