Yea they're riveted (Thanks to Tinkerbell) but you can still take them off. All you have to do is slot them with a dremel and they'll screw out just as a normal screw would. The first time i ever removed one i just used visegrips and clipped it onto the edges. Also when you put it on the new throttle body just make sure that with the throttle fully closed it reads 0.5 volts.
