Where to buy new IACV.
My IACV is going bad on my 94 Accord EX. I have taken it off, replaced the o-rings with Honda ones, and cleaned it with carb clean spraying the screen and valve sides. Looking into buying a new one and they are so ridiculously spendy. I actually payed less for my Mishimoto radiator and hoses then I would for a new IACV. Any suggestions? Knew this would be the place to ask. Thanks!

Is it possible to buy a FITV block-off plate that's already made? If so, where can I buy one? And since I live the communist state of California, would it pass the visual inspection?

I'd grab one from the junkyard...I just like the way it looks more and they wouldn't of put it in there if it didn't help in some way right? But he is right, you don't "need" it so it just depends on your future plans.
You could also look on craigslist or ebay.

I'm just looking to replace it, not delete it. I removed my FITV, but the IACV is a necessary component.

I've heard about someone actually just cut a piece of aluminum (from a can of beer or soda), shape a piece the same size as the FITV gasket (just drilling holes for the screws of course), and blocked it off like that. Would that also work?

also the guys on cb7t have a thread going on passing emmisions. souns like a bisi timing geear might help with emmision? does cali check your engine timing ?
That is incredibly ghetto. GhostAccord suggested using a piece of sheet metal and some gasket material to block his off. What would be the point in blocking it off just to leave the bulky assembly on anyways? I took mine off to get rid of the god awful coolant lines back there and the large assembly hanging of the TB.
