So your saying that the engine turns over but you aren't getting spark? You've already tested the ignition coil? If you're tps was bad you would be getting a cel, are you? Sounds like the igniter to me, hopefully this helps.

i have spark, the car is not starting tho/ i tried starting fluid to see if it would run on it and it wont so i dont think spark is enough plugs are getting wet so must have gas however car has been sitting awhile. seems like i read somewhere car will not start with bad cps.
need some ideas on how and what to troubleshoot. i have 12 volts at coil with key on from blk and white wire and when cranking i have zero volts from ecm/Pcm really dont know if this means a damn thing oops .... car just wont start.

Do you have a OBD2 scanner? if not borrow one from a friend or a local parts store and see if there are any more detailed codes.

Oh, I thought you said you had no voltage to the coil? If you do then you can use an HEI or similar spark tester to see the intensity of the spark at each plug.

*EDIT*

Just realized in my original reply I said tps, I meant cps.

No cel at all? When you turn the key does the engine crank? Does the engine chug like it's not getting enough fuel or maybe flooding because of too much fuel? Or does it just click? Please provide more details and a list of things that you've tried already.

somethings i have tried it compression around 110 for all little low but been sitting for awhile. sprark got 12 volts from bat and got trigger signal from ecm. fuel injectors is a hard one i checked one today and 12 volts going to in and pulse from ecm. oh and took fuel pump out and drained tank and put racing fuel in. and i listen for pump to run and it comes on. and i mean you could eat off this motor. only 20 k on it

you now need to do a scan. especially since the engine check light stays on when the ignition is switched on. it usually stays on for 2sec
