I was told by ASR that their subframe wont fit on jdm EK9 !

Does anyone tried the ones from ebay on ek models?

do these fit ?

ASR subframes should fit all 96-00 Civic chassis. Worst case scenario, you might need to drill some new holes. Also, I would not trust ebay unless it was an auction from a store that sells genuine stuff, like JHPUSA for example.
