Hey whats up guys, I'm new to honda-tech and the forum thing in general.
And still pretty new to game. Last year I did my first winter build on my EG well my EH did alot for my first project car, but still the basics, b18 swap, rear disc, suspension, adjustable toe, and camber, wheels, paint, tuck and shave.

Now this year i'm going a little bigger. and would also like to get some of the "Harder to find parts"

Can anyone here direct me to a site or place to find the double din optional console, or the cup holder that goes into the armest?
I'm not looking to buy used or off a site that overprices the products cause there "JDM" im looking to find a oem honda dealer where i can find there cause they were both produced in the states. I will buy used if the price is resonable.

These things are rarer than hen's teeth and anyone that has on or can get ahold of them knows this. You may not want to pay overblown prices but you will. Try Ebay or the Marketplace. I'm not sure any etailer sells these anymore.

 

i sold one for 275 two years ago, they go for even more now. good luck.

 

Well thanks for the blut honest replys lol, i was just hoping there was other places other then ebay, cause ive been looking and have found them in places like ebay but as you guys know, stupily priced, but i guess thats what I have to pay. But if anyone knows of anything please let me know! thanks again.

 

Not a chance. The prices are more than likely to go UP.

 

Not a worthy investment in such a stupid piece of plastic unless you want that JDM look.
Most people who do have them when they go to sell their cars the part those out..
The market if full of used half broken pieces like those.
Parts that arent in the best of shape
Take that money and buy a swaybar and a subframe brace

 

Though i can see where your coming from, and respect your opinion, i dont want it soley for the look. I do have a double din sterio nd dont want to cut/modify my dash. I love the oem interrior look and wouldnt want to lose my climate controls.

Also i have all of the structure support bolt ons already lol.

 

Can you please post up a pict and school me. I purchased my 1st Honda dec 2012 and I have a lot to learn.

I think this was pretty clear. It's not a common piece so you're going to have to do some looking around to find one. Be prepared to spend a lot of money when you do.

Well if you have no further information then what was given, why did you bother posting a picture? I think I was "pretty clear" with what I wanted.

Damn that sucks, i saw one on passwordjdm, but its a carbon fiber reproduction, and i honestly hate carbon, i mean i could paint it, but i wanted more factory look.

 

There's a marketplace on this forum if you even bothered to look. Nobody is going to spoon-feed you rare/uncommon parts. You're going to have to look around yourself and be prepared to spend lots of money. If you had done all that stuff to your car that you mentioned in your first post then, i'm sure you would know the process of finding and obtaining rare/uncommon parts.

On eBay you're going to find it but pay market price ... which is pretty high these days. Keep an eye on the Craigslist type classifieds, that is probably your best bet. Found mine there BNIB for $20. I didn't haggle.

As for the armrest cup holder .... well, for that you should just get an armrest. You can't buy it separately any more. They come inside them. These are still FS new from the dealer.

Well i havent really gotton into the rare parts thing you know?
Like when i got my arm rest and door panels (the ones with the tweeters) think there out of a EJ1?
and like the rear speaker brackers and grilles, i didnt really know they were uncommon (which might not be to uncoomin to you) I only got these parts cause i came across them while junk yarding and found them cool. Now i know there slightly sought after.
So i never really looked around for the huge rare parts.
Like I said im pretty new to the game.

damn, brand new, i know i wouldnt find much like that around here, idk where all you guys are from but im in central new york, so the scene down here is very...lame to say the least. its hard to find clean, rare, cars and parts. thats a big reason i'm asking for help.

 

IMO there's nothing about a Civic that I would consider truly rare. It's a Civic.
