anyone got a rock hard brake pedal?
changed the brake fluid in my civic and got all the air out and the pedal is realy good.
my question is without all brand new hardware from the master all the way down to the lines and calipers/cylinders.. has anyone ever gotting that nice rock hard solid pedal like a brand new 2012 car has??

Do feel this when the car is running or when the engine is shut off? The brake booster uses a vacuum to assist your foot in applying pressure to the hydraulic brake fluid. There is a vacuum line that runs from the brake booster to the intake manifold. This line also has a check valve in it (allows air to flow in only one direction, indicated by the arrow on the valve itself). Make sure you have the valve facing the booster, as air should be going into it, not out of it.
im talking about wile driving. every early 90s to early 2000s car i drive/have driven has an ok to good pedal but when i hop into a '05, '08, ,12 car it has a rock hard instant grab pedal that iv never been able to achieve/have shot achieve on an older car.
i just dont know if its just how things where back then (im only 20 lol) or if it just takes every part being replaced to get it to feel like that.

The new cars use more electronic assistance so it acts way different than any old vehicle. Hydro boost does this for the gm trucks from 88-98 but doubt theres a hydroboost for hondas
