automatic seat belt q's
The previous owner of my wagon did not like the automatic seat belts...so he decided it would be cool to some how turn them off so they would not work. When I bought the car I tried to get him to explain to me how to turn the back on and he was not very clear. Texted him today and he told me that there is a fuse he took out under the passenger side carpet? I looked under the passenger side carpet and can't find any fuse. Looked in the fuse box on the driver side and couldn't find a spot for the seatbelts...off topic on my fuse box it has spots for a sunroof and power locks? lol I didn't know wagons in American came with that? Please someone help me out with this problem. Thanks.
Check the battery post on the positive side. There should be a whitea nd green wire and white and red wire that needs power. It is normally connected to a OEM fuse holder that mounts right on the post but a lot of people remove them.
he is saying he took some fuses out on the passenger side
He also sold you a car with broken seat belts.
I mean, you can keep talking to him, but the fact is that the fuses are on the battery post, engine bay, and under the driver side of the dash.
there aren't fuses on the passenger side under the carpet unless he rigged something... and we can't really help you with that.

where?
Our cars have a lifetime warranty on safety belts. Take it into the dealership and have them fix everything. Make sure you have them looks up the warranty so they wont charge you anything. I took my car in for sloppy belts and they fixed it for $0
if the seatbelts are modified then it isnt under warranty. i dont know if someone removing the fusebox for them will be covered. not sure though
See the two white wires? Connect them strait to a 12v power source(battery). Go inside your car and close your doors. The power seat belts should now work. Now go back to the two wires and connect them to an inline fuse(but at Walmart/RadioShack) to be safe.
Alright man, I'll try it Sunday because I got rugby..thanks man I'll let you know how it goes.
